Studio Spotlight: Reform Physical Therapy

Studio Spotlight: Reform Physical Therapy
This month we’re chatting to Dr. Meg, a lifelong athlete, physiotherapist, and Pilates instructor who’s reshaping the way people approach movement and rehabilitation. Meg opened her Wilmette studio, Reform, in 2022. Since then, it has flourished into a vibrant community, with a team of both physiotherapists and Pilates instructors dedicated to supporting every client’s journey to strength and wellness.

How long have you been in the pilates world?
I’ve been a physical therapist for 7 years, Pilates instructor for 2.5 and have owned my studio for 1.5 years!

What makes your studio stand out?
Reform is not just a Pilates studio but also a Physical Therapy Clinic; a merging of two disciplines. Beyond that we are a community! We partner with many locally owned wellness businesses as well as international big names, like Lululemon. I’m actually a Lululemon  ambassador!

Your greatest joy?
Creating a community centered on movement for EVERYONE and seeing someone truly benefit inside and out from reform. It’s my greatest joy, hands down.

Favorite part of your day?
Ending a long day at Reform and having my three young boys be a part of the clean up. Their energy and silly humor keep me going and they truly inspire me every day. They’re my three ‘whys’ for doing what I do!

What are you reading right now?
The Women by Kristin Hannah

Something you're loving, that we need to know about?
Chia Leah, a locally owned whole foods shop in Wilmette. I get my snacks, juices, and lunches delivered weekly—I wouldn’t eat if it weren’t for her!

Fav Loops product and why?
The Balls are perfect for any ab series, whether they’re placed at the lumbar spine, between the legs, or in the hands—chef’s kiss! And the Premium Loops elevate our in-strap series, creating a more luxurious and comfortable experience. Plus, the colors go perfectly with our studio!

If we come visit your studio, what is another must do in the area?
The beach is a must—it’s only a short distance from us, and some of the best are on Chicago’s North Shore. Close by are Central Street in Evanston and Wilmette Avenue in Wilmette, with locally owned coffee shops, pizza spots, high-end steakhouses, taverns, and seafood places. We really do have it all!
